Crush It Mobile at Adobe MAX 2010

News Add comments

I've been accepted to speak at Adobe MAX 2010 in LA.  It's a Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL) session on "Building mobile apps with jQuery".  I'm feeling a sense of pride in accomplishing a goal to become more active in the Adobe community.

In 2005/2006, I started listening to podcasts, reading more blogs, and I attended my first Adobe MAX.  It was great being among all these amazing developers.  It got me thinking "What can I do for the community?"  I started attending the Bay Area ColdFusion User Group, which lead to my role as co-manager and now manager.  I began offering to speak at User Group meetings and hit person goal speaking at 360Flex San Jose last spring.

I've been busting my tail preparing my BYOL for MAX and I'm very happy with the results.  I have a run through planned next week with my two TA's to work out any "bugs".  The session has proven so popular that Adobe added a second session.  The pressure is on, but I'm feeling really good.

If you are attending MAX this year, come by and say "Hi" would love to chat mobile with you.
